Absolutely gorgeous early 1960s printed Emilio Pucci pant set that is just absolutely beyond words fabulous! It is made of a beautiful printed velvet, the fabric that is amongst the most prized of all his pieces to find. The pants are flat fronted with a sleek and simple waist and zip to close at the back with a painted metal zipper. This gives them a great fit so that if you decide to wear the jacket open it feels chic and finished. The pants flow out to incredibly wide legs which I absolutely love - Pucci loved to do this during this time period. They almost look like a maxi skirt from the distance but have the ease and comfort of a pant. The jacket (which you can easily wear on its own without anything under it) slips on and buttons to close. The colors are fabulous and it is so versatile since you can wear it as shown or as separates. This is a very rare set. Excellent condition
The jacket is fully lined in a white silky rayon and closes with velvet covered buttons at the front and cuffs. The pants are unlined with finishing fabric at the interior pant hem and waist. The close with a painted metal zipper at the back.
